Chemistry

We learned that fire needs oxygen, heat, and fuel to burn. We found this out by putting baking soda and vinegar into a cylinder which made carbon dioxide. When we let the candle down in the cylinder, the fire went out. The candle went out because it had no oxygen. A fire needs oxygen. Carbon dioxide is heavy, so when he poured the carbon  dioxide in the other cylinder. We let the candle down again and it still went out.
